Finally, I can make this post happen! Karena sejujurnya saya sering browsing tentang 'how to lighten the skin from sun tan' dan akhirnya saya memiliki solusinya sendiri. Haha. Ada yang senasib dengan saya? Kulit orang Indonesia memang rentan sekali dengan sun tan (kulit yang menghitam karena matahari), soalnya matahari bersinar sepanjang tahun. Jadi, sun tan memang nggak bisa dihindari.

Cara Menjaga Bibir Lembab Sepanjang Hari (DIY Lip Scrub)

Saya dulu memiliki bibir yang sangat kering dan pecah-pecah. Meskipun sudah pakai lip balm, nggak tahu kenapa bibir saya tetap kembali pecah. Padahal sudah mencoba berbagai lip balm, tapi hasilnya tetap sama. Matte lipstick juga serasa menjadi nightmare buat saya, karena hasilnya akan pecah-pecah juga. Not looking good, really.

Birthday Gift Ideas for Boyfriend

Boys don't like the same thing like us, indeed they don't like cute things such as trinkets, or something too girly (of course, they aren't girls. LOL). But they might like surprises from us, because they will think we care enough to them, and always there to make them happy. Especially, when it comes to his birthday, it will be an annual moments of happiness that will always be remembered.

So, here I'm gonna show you a birthday gift ideas that you might want it to be gifted to your boyfriend. It was J's birthday on last 24th November, and I gifted him a little surprise that I sent to his friend's rental (because he's there and I'm here, and he doesn't have his own rental bcz he's studying at a military-based school, so ya..)

It's a crafted by me to surprise him, so let's take a look at my DIY stuffs I gifted to him.

That's the whole package. It's really simple because I know J doesn't really like something too much, he likes being simple. I made the box myself, with a cardboard, and I just simply wrapped it with a wrapping paper. I like to make a DIY, so I decided to make my own box for him.

And that is the inside. I made some quotation cards that contains of my own words to say Birthday to him. A card a word, and I put a hint at the back of each side with number of dots. So, he can arrange it to be a quote that is connected. So sad, I didn't capture it to show to you the backside, but the quotation cards were captured in above picture. I still have the file, so I'll show you the sample:

I also made card photos contain of birthday cake, flag banner decoration, foil balloon in J letter, and the main gift. It's better for you to use such kind of polaroid camera, because I don't have it so I decided to make it in square with a same size as the quotation cards.

And then.....about the final wrapping, I only added a cord then wrapped it around the box.

I also inserted two torn tiny papers contain of sentence to make it not look so plain. Hehe

Then, done! I hope it inspires you give a surprise for your boyfriend's birthday..

Style Inspiration: Keep Stylish in A Bright-Sunlight Vacation Day

Go vacation, erase the boredom by seeing the wilder place and sometimes we could face the bright sunlight that will burn our skin which makes us then become a cry-baby, scream and say 'I'm gonna protect my skin after this, surely' but it doesn't come real since you forget to put sunscreen cream to your skin. Or even you don't have it?
The thing is that the clothes you wear in the bright-sunlight day. Do you want to keep stylish without feeling sultry? But your clothes still can protect you from the sunlight that will burn your skin? I'm sure you afraid of it, so then..this tips is good for you.

This was my last post outfit, when I went vacation with my friends in a daylight since we started to go at around 9 a.m. and it was a hot-time in Jogja. I decided to wear a simple yet still stylish outfit, with only pairing my tribal-patterned long blouse and nude sleeveless top. To look a bit more stylish, I wore my blouse unbutton so that it looks like an outer (but actually it was a basic long blouse) and the nude top will be appeared. I added belt and for the bottom I wore simple dual jeans which I can fold it up in the edge of it, again to perfect your stylish outfit and I never forget to put on my favorite plain socks in brown. I paired it with my brownie-tassel flat shoes in pink. And see, there was no something strange to my outfit right? Although, I'm wearing socks in a contrast color with my shoes. However it's still looked good since the tone not goes too wrong. It's good to know that my tone wasn't red again, haha but I'm still playing with one of my favorite colors, brown with a touch of violet, black, nude, and pink.

And that's the tips for you, the socks which sometimes look a bit too old, by wearing it right it will be looked so cute and no mistake at all. Now, you can walk freely without afraid of your toe is being striped since you know your skin is not a fabric, yea? Hahaha

Dorm Alone (What to Do?)

You must be done reading my previous post that my holiday would end. Well, actually, it's right that the holiday has just ended on Sept 8, however we've received a news said that the lectures will be started at 15 Sept. I got Monday and Tuesday free for this semester, so I'm gonna start the 3rd semester on Wednesday 17th. So we can call it as an extended holiday. Absolutely, boring. I've been through 2 months of semester holiday, including Ramadhan and Eid Fitr holiday and it's reallyyy, kinda long. Oh no, not a kinda long. It's indeed really long. Don't know what to do with this 'extended holiday' which makes my day free (again) for more than a week. I asked my friend to make a journey to explore the beautifulness of Yogyakarta, however, they don't really serious to make it deal. I know my house is not really far from Jogja, cause it only takes 3 or 4 hours, but I feel like I don't wanna go home because it will make me less productive. Only watch a tv, or play internet, sleep, eating, and go bed again. You also already know that I have a mission I've planned, currently I'm gonna process it in Jogja, however the things are left in my house. What so pity I am.

Then, I began to think, what should I do? I look around my dorm, and I've got an idea! It also can help you when you've got yourself at dorm alone. So, let's take a look at these:

• Learn New Language

Learn a new language is always fun! Yes, it is. I've posted the things I wanted to do, learning deutsch. To be (really) honest, yes indeed I've learned this language and  got some materials to be learned. However, it only took few days, and after it I didn't continue anymore. So, I haven't done it, I know it was a foreign language I've learn since I was High School, however, I really suck in it. Means I don't fluent in Deutsch, my German is really bad. And by this boredom, I'm gonna (seriously) learn this again. For you, who want to learn foreign language from a really basic skill, Duolingo is a good app to learn. You can download it on Play Store/App Store, also if you prefer with laptop/pc, you can just simply click https://www.duolingo.com/. Unfortunately, it only provides 8 foreign language (Spanish, Danish, Irish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Dutch), but all those eight language is worth to learn.

• Crafting!

This is one of the things I like to do. I can't stop decorating my dorm and I always look for some ideas that can make my dorm full of crafts and DIY things. I really like to customize thing around me :p This may be a hobby and one thing that can make me happy since I know I'm a moody person and easy to feel bored and because crafting is indeed fun! It makes our creativity increase as you know also it can balance our brain.You can start to be an itchy-hand person by look at this website: http://www.papeldelarte.com. It seems like a heaven for a crafty person, especially for women who (naturally we know) love ever cute things.

• Make A Simple Sketch of Clothes/Outfits

 You can only prepare three things to do this,

1. Sticky Notes
2. Pencil
3. Your Taste of Fashion. B)

And then, let's start! Open your brain or look at the references you have. You may take a look at some blog of fashions, through online clothing stores, magazines, or instagram. Or maybe your own imagination and you can make an invention of fashion. Most of girls in this world (at least, ever dream about) want to be a fashion designer, and as a girl, outfit is one of the most important thing you could deal with. When you are in alone in dorm, this activity may fill your loneliness, it can be a reference for you when you someday want to go out with friends or your boyfie, or just start to be a fashion designer.

There are a lot of things you may do to take your boredom away instead of go out with your friends or take another vacations. It can increase your skill or your ability to do something. There are alot of benefits also. When you try to learn a new foreign language, for instance. You can add your confidence in speaking with people or just share to friends the skill you've just got and to teach them. Or you may decorate your room to heal your boredom and when you look around your dorm you feel like happy...it's my own heaven! It's fun when you can make it all enjoy, so let's just try!

As a girl, definitely, you love fashion (no, I mean, most girls love fashion). There're some tips for you to face the 'fashion world'. And here they are.

• Don't ever be a fashion victim
• Don't always follow the trend, choose your own style. Gotta have your personal style, baby!
• Remember, you don't need to buy new stuff to look trendy. There are some kinds of stuff in your closets (or mom's) and you can still wear it your way to look stylish. Remember rule number two, gotta have your personal style!
• Don't throw away the clothes you never worn again. There might be trendy again next time! You can still be able to wear it, don't throw away.
• Don't be too much because less is more. The best way is to show your signature is by wearing accessories
• Branded stuff are never reflect your personality. Wear the stuff which reflects who you are. So, don't ever push too hard to have branded. You don't always need to wear branded stuff anyway! There are a lot of affordable fashion items that can make you stand out (and elegant, and classy) right now.

Beauty DIY: Banana Mask

I have tips for you, girls. Probably, some girls already knew this, but I hope it's still helpful for you :) Here it is a banana mask! Banana contains many nutritions, such as potassium; iron; calcium; protein; phosphorus; vitamin A, C, and B. Anyway, you can try it at home and it's very cheap. This also won't be harmful to your skin since the ingredients are natural. But, before we start, you need to know about your skin type. So, the mask can boost your skin to be better. It makes your face smoother and softer as well.

Dry skin:
Banana + eggwhite + yoghurt
______
How to:
Mashed the banana then add egg white and a spoon of yogurt.
Apply on to face, and wait until 15-20 minutes.
Wash your face with the lukewarm water.

Do it 2-3 weeks per month.


Oily skin:
Banana + lemon squeeze
______
How to:
Mashed the banana then add a teaspoon of the lemon squeeze, mix it.
Apply it to your face, and wait until 20 minutes.
Wash your face with the lukewarm water.

Do this around once every 30-40 days.


Normal skin:
Banana + yoghurt/honey
______
How to:
Mashed the banana and add a spoon of yogurt (you can change it with the honey).
Apply onto face and wait until 20 minutes.
Wash your face with the lukewarm water.

Do it once a week


That's it! It's very easy, isn't it?

5 Don'ts in Fashion

Fashion also has a rule. So, if you don't obey, you'll be punished! LOL. I'm just kidding. But, there are things that you're not necessarily do

1. Don't ever wear too many accessories. It won't give a 'glamour look', instead you will look too much and 'effortful'. In the end, your look is NG (not good).
2. You don't need to wear low-cut tops to look sexy or to steal attention. Beauty is not what it sees :) If you wanna steal attention, start with your manner.
3. When it comes to a party, you don't always to buy a new dress. You can even pair your old dress and pair it with accessories. You will look chic!
4. If you think you need to buy new clothes for an event, well, think again! Actually, you can wear your old black dress cause black dress is timeless. Next thing is to add the accessories to look more elegant!
5. Have you ever done wearing a wrong costume? Well, you're not the only one, tho. Every girl has done the same. However, as long as you're confident, you're good to go!
