I am the one who believes that being stylish doesn't mean we need to get lots of clothing items or collect every trendy piece to our closet. The key is just to invest several essential items. Wearing hijab is also not something that stops you to look chic as well. Even modest fashion has just become a trend right now. So, here is my version of hijabi wardrobe essentials.

Have I told you that she's one of my favorite actresses? If you haven't known her yet, she's the girl on the Lady Bird movie. I guess, you know the movie. However, it's not her debut movie, she's a movie star since she was a kid. That was Atonement movie she played when she was a kid, and since I disliked the character she played in the movie, I also began to dislike her. However, I don't know why, I kinda liked her after saw her other movies (including Lady Bird). I love her acting and her character (also her accents, LOL).

CURRENT TREND: Side-striped Pants

I'm not the kind o person who likes to follow the trend but, doesn't mean I hate what's trending. I mean, I will do/wear what I like to do/wear no matter if it's on trend or not. And when I like a thing that's trending, I'll be the first person to do/wear it in town. Haha. Just like these side-striped pants which are so trending last year (CMIIW) but, the people around me still haven't aware of this trend. Or let's say, they're a bit late? Or maybe they aren't really into fashion.

OOTD: Winter-inspired for Tropical Girl

Welcome back! I managed to post a fashion post (finally, sigh) after awhile. The photos were taken several months ago, back in the last Eid Fitr. I know it's too long, I intended to post it as my Eid Fitr outfit actually, but I think it's too late. But this might inspire you if you kinda obsess with 4 seasons countries, or pretending that you live in a 4 season country.

Something Clear

Clear can be defined from our heart, and the honest of mind. Something clear isn't always have to be white. Blue also can be defined as clear. So, I picked my self-made batik pants to wear this time. It's really playful to pair white with the sky blue. It becomes a fresh look.

The detail:

I wore my favorite brocade top paired with my self-made long vest with slit and all in white, then paired with my (also self-made) batik pants in blue. To match with the pants, I wore my sky blue pashmina. I also combined with my sand wedges, it's from UP by Diana Rikasari (you need to check it, the collections are all cute!!). Not to forget to bring my transparent clear clutch with a white pouch in it, and the last touch, I added Katniss necklace from my brand, Confidential.

Assignments, presentations, are best friends for college student. It needs to refresh our mind to walk around and look for something joyful. Recently, I've visited Langgeng Art, Yogyakarta with friends. We have only just several times to visit this art museum but it was a good day to go out in a limited time.

It's good to enjoy in this place, the place is quiet and peace. You can have a leisure time here, but unfortunately, there's no food and chips there, so it might be boring to stay for a long time. But still, it can be your next destination when you come to Yogyakarta, especially for those who likes arts and philosophy.

Golden Hour

I really like fashion since I was a kid, it was because of my mom loves clothes too. She likes to sew her own clothes since she was High School, and it then made me want to learn how to sew. So, it was a year I learned how to sew in my hometown, it haven't done yet since I have to wait until my holiday come.

Although my sewing class hasn't done yet, I've been sewing many clothes, in many different models and materials. I think, sewing is not that hard, you just gotta love it, and the idea will come to your mind. Since then, I never bought a clothes again, all I need is to buy materials, materials, and materials again. Psst..it doesn't mean I never bought anything else then, I still love to pick the best shoes and bags to bring home. Xixi.

That culotte also is not a new one, it's my aunt's that she gives to me because she's getting fatter. Haha. You see, it's not always needed much money to be looked stylish. To follow the trend also not that hard. I like to style by my own, but doesn't mean I become like hipster, stay away from the "in" thing.

It doesn't mean you have to follow the trend always and always, but no one says follow the trend is prohibited, yeah? Just how you manage it and still being your own on it. But if it's too hard to follow, then just don't follow it. Life is simple actually, if you think simple too.

So, about the background, it was a park in my High School, yups..How I miss this school, with all the good and bad memories. It's been about 3 years since I graduated and I haven't come here again, then when I went there I see lot things change. That's a life.

Hello everyone! It's been a while, and I'm sorry if it's quite late to say Minal Aidin Walfaidin, and Happy Eid Mubarak! Well, better late than never, isn't? You may be asking where I've been since I seem inactive to post or to say happy Eid, yeah me was just sick and it forced me to stay in bed. Alright, so this post I'm gonna show you an updated outfit, I've worn in my Eid Fitr on las 17 July...aand here we go.....

This time, I picked monochrome as my theme, I paired Patterned Scarves in Black + White Lace Tops + White A-line Skirt + Basic Black Vest + Black Flats and then it's done! It turns out to be monochrome.

Well actually, I wished to had a white on white outfit in the first day of Eid, unfortunately because of the limit of time, I can't make it since I've decided to sew it my own. I mean, in this outfit, only the A-line Skirt. Hehe.

So, it should be a White Vest I worn that day. Actually, I planned my second White on White outfit by replacing White Vest with a White Pashmina, but I thought then, I still have a Black Vest and it could be a savior and it becomes a savior indeed, thought it has changed the theme.

As you all know that I really love fashions so much, and vintage to follow. So, this brand is the evidence of my wish to be coming true. Since I was a kid, I've always wanted to build my own clothing line, because I really like clothes, and I kinda hate if some products I want may didn't suit me well, a bit. Then, I began to imagine if I could make my own clothes, I design it myself, and wear it myself, and also try to sell to people. I know confidential is not a clothing brand, and this brand is just a beginning. More missions to come, for sure!
I've been starting this business since May 2014 by my own. All I'm doing myself from branding, the products, and marketing, even the logo, I've made it myself. At first, I want to run my business in secret, and nobody would know. It's just because I like being nobody in front of people, but I'm doing something surprisingly behind. That's just me, actually. That's why I named it "confidential" as its meaning, I want to every people know my brands not just by the owner, even I know I wasn't someone that people know well. It's just like, I like people appreciate my work without knowing who's the one behind that creations.

Campus Day Outfit

Hi peeps! Luckily I wasn't gone too long again. So this post, I'll be sharing my yesterday's quick-college-day since I'm on my Mid Test until 2 May.

I simply only paired my semi baggy jeans with tartan basic shirt and I added my old-vintage vest cause I really love to wear any kind of vests. Vest could make your outfit a lil bit outstanding, and I know vest become my authentic style since I can play it with any kind of stuffs I have in my closet. I could be feminine, or boyish, depend on what vest I wear and what kind of clothes I pair into an outfit. And do you know why I like to wear baggy/semi baggy jeans? It's to manipulate my leg, because I'm having a-bit-really tiny legs.

The last touch I paired was my favorite pip toe flats in nude! It's always a perfect company to walk, and not too much accents too.
